12.11.2020- The Portuguese Government wants Higher Education Institutions to ensure that both classes and exams are carried out face-to-face. 

Following the decisions of the Council of Ministers published on the 2nd of November, which include new measures due to the pandemic associated with COVID-19, it is important to guarantee effective and safe conditions in the continuation of the academic and scientific activities in progress, especially in the municipalities covered by the exceptional measures now approved. 

In the guidelines of the Health Directorate General about the functioning of teaching activities in the school year 2020-2021, if distance learning is to be used, it should be developed in universities and polytechnics.
