Fangas is located on the Baixa of Coimbra, and is a Great place for drink good wines or find good quality “petiscos” (national snacks), cold and canned. The sangria is homemade and is delicious, since is the most required drink in the bar. Despite being quite frequented by students, the bar has a family atmosphere, with fado as background music.

In this 30-year-old bar, wine is sold by the glass (from 2.30 €), beer (the thin one costs 1.30 € during the week and 1.50 € at the weekend) and other drinks. Hunger is also satisfied with preserves, wraps, or boards. But the main bet is on jazz: there are concerts on the last weekend of each month, on Friday and on Saturday night (free entrance, with compulsory consumption). It works from 12h00 to 02h00.
